What is the 18th & Vine Arts Festival?
The 18th & Vine Arts Festival is a three-day celebration of Black art, music, fashion, and culture in Kansas City's historic 18th & Vine District. With over 90 Black artists participating, the event includes live performances, a fashion and hair show, food trucks, and various community activities. Our mission is to empower Black artists, providing them with platforms for long-term success.

Day 1: Friday, September 27th

Fashion Show: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
A 70s-inspired fashion show curated by Next Paige Agency, showcasing local designers' bold and vibrant styles.
Day 2: Saturday, September 28th

What are the festival's Terms & Conditions?
Can I bring outside liquor into the festival?
No, outside liquor is not allowed. Bags will be checked.
Are weapons permitted at the festival?
No, weapons are strictly prohibited.Will chairs be provided for the shows?
Yes, chairs will be provided for all stage shows.Can I bring my own lawn chair?
Yes, lawn chairs are allowed and encouraged.Will bags be searched upon entry?
Yes, all bags are subject to search.Do I need to wear my wristband at all times?
Yes, wristbands must be worn for entry and participation.Do I need to show my weekend pass every time I enter?
Yes, your weekend pass must be shown at the door.Is re-entry allowed if I leave the festival?
Yes, re-entry is allowed with a valid wristband.Will food and drinks be available inside the festival?

Yes! There will be multiple food trucks each day offering a variety of cuisines, with food and drinks available for purchase.
Will artists have work for sale?
Yes! Support over 90 Black artists by purchasing their artworks, including paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and more.
Does the event cost money?
Yes, tickets are required. Artists participate for free, and ticket sales directly support their ability to showcase and sell their work.
